Coral Eclipse at Sandown 2010

To get away from the Football and Tennis for a little while tomorrow we have the Group 1 Coral Eclipse run over 1 mile 2 furlongs at Sandown Park. Considering the race is worth £500,000.00 there is a poor turn out with only six runners. Last year we had a great race between Sea the Stars and Rip Van Winkle. Twice Over finished down the field that day. He runs again and renews rivalry with Mawatheeq whom he just beat in the Champion Stakes last October. Zacinto runs over 10 furlongs for the first time. The race could be a tactical affair. Dar Re Mi (pictured) won impressively in Dubai, has had a nice break and comes into the race a fresh horse. She might well make her own running and hopefully stay out of traffic problems. She is game and genuine and could give young William Buick another Group 1 winner.
