The two day Cheltenham International Meeting looks as though it will get underway today (Friday 10th). Neptune Collonges is the class act today in the Majordomo Hospitality Handicap Chase run over 3 miles 1 furlong but the real action will be tomorrow with a cracking eight race card.

The Vote A.P. Gold Cup Handicap Chase run over 2 miles 5 furlongs is worth £150,000.00. Great Endeavour disappointed in the Paddy Power last time behind Little Josh. His trainer, David Pipe, expects him to run better this time. He is a course and distance winner and he could be the each way value off his low weight.

The Stanjames.com International Hurdle worth £150,000.00 and run over 2 miles 1 furlong looks an interesting race with three hurdlers, Menorah, Silviniaco Conti and Cue Card already being talked about as potential Champion Hurdlers. Whoever wins will be shortened up for the “big one” by the bookies. In my humble opinion Cue Card looks a bit special.

Time for Rupert steps up in trip to 3 miles 1 furlong in the DRS Contacts Novices Chase. He jumped very well last time over the course and has a favourites chance in this race.

Racing at Sandown was lost last weekend but the Keith Prowse Hospitality Tingle Creek Chase worth £60,000.00 was saved and transfered here to Cheltenham. Master Minded will be a very warm order for this race which will be a trial for the 2 mile Champion Chase next March.
